Terence
From Neverpedia
Terence is a dust-tending Disney fairy. (As a male fairy, he is sometimes referred to as a "sparrow man", a term Disney invented in an attempt to avoid calling them "fairies".) In the Tinker Bell films he is voiced by Jesse McCartney.Terence has blonde hair and blue eyes and wears an acorn cap on his head.
The character is classic "crush" material for the audience of young girls: cute, shy, and thoughtful. He has a bit of a crush on Tinker Bell, which she is unaware of. He is constantly stopping by her workshop with something for her to fix, or finding reasons to be around her.
Terence has one of the most important jobs in Pixie Hollow: each day, he rises before dawn to help hand out pixie dust to the other fairies, who need a measured cup of dust each day in order to fly and do magic.
Role in the Books
Although Terence has never gotten his own chapter book, he has appeared in many. He first appeared in the Gail Carson's novel "Fairy Dust and the Quest for the Egg". He was the Dust Fairy responsible for giving Prilla her first cup of Fairy Dust. He later asks her if she would like to go to the mill and see if she is a Dust Fairy. Throughout the novel he plays Tink's secret but ferviant admirer who tries to win her affection but can't (due to Tink's still hurt feelings over Peter Pan), and one of Prilla's few friends. His role in the chapter books tends to be the all around good guy. He is quick to help and slow to anger (In "Rani and the Three Treasures" Terence is the only one not to get mad at Rani when she falls through the roof of the mill and ruins a canister of Pixie Dust. He never snaps back at Tink when she snaps at him in "The Trouble with Tink" and "Tink North of Neverland" and in "Lily's Pesky Plant" Terence though unhappy about the pink fuzz never gets angry with Lily for growing it.) He offers his advice and praise to others when he deems it necessary and isn't one to follow fairy trends (as shown in "A Master Piece for Bess")His best friend is Tinker Bell and he's almost always with her, but he is also very close to Beck, Rani and Silvermist.
