Jaramillo's interpretation of Peter Pan and Tinker Bell

Raquel Jaramillo is a photo illustrator, who in 2000 produced an edition of Peter and Wendy (under the title Peter Pan) with the full text of the novel copiously illustrated with digitally manipulated photographic images of human models, ranging from double-page spreads to spot illustrations. The story was told in 135 pages, a foot square and hardbound with a dust jacket. Since they didn't need to act, Jaramillo was able to "cast" younger children in the roles than are usually seen on stage or screen; Peter and Wendy are clearly pre-adolescent, and the Lost Boys are little children. Peter is played by Matthew Ziff, a now successful actor.
