Laurie Fox is the author The Lost Girls: A Novel, a 2004 sequel to Peter and Wendy that explores four generations of Wendy Darling's descendents. She is also the author of Sexy Hieroglyphics (1993) and the semi-autobiographical My Sister from the Black Lagoon (1998). She published Sweeping Beauty; Or, Notes on Cinderella in 1986. She is a former bookseller and creative-writing teacher. She lives with her husband, author-journalist D. Patrick Miller, and her cats, Lewis and Gracie, in Berkeley, California.
