Greg Call at a book signing

Greg Call is the cover artist and interior illustrator of the Starcatchers series of novels and Never Land Books written by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson.

Originally from Colorado, he studied graphic design at the Colorado Institute of Art in Denver. After graduating in 1983, he worked as an Art Director at the Colorado Institute of Art. He moved to Pasadena, California, where he attended The Art Center College of Design, in order to do more illustration work. Upon graduation in 1988, he began working freelance. He and his family now live in northwestern Montana.

He has done work for various book publishers, music labels, game developers, and general media conglomerates like Disney and Time-Warner, and has been recognized with numerous awards. He has done illustrations for "Time Spies", a series of historical science-fiction books. He works in acrylics, oils, watercolors, pencils, pen and ink, and sculpture. In addition to commercial illustration work, he also does fine art painting and sculpture.
