Fireflyer is the main fairy character in Peter Pan in Scarlet, the official sequel to Peter and Wendy. He can be considered the replacement for Tinker Bell, who, since fairies are short-lived, is long dead by the time of this story.

Fireflyer is born from a baby boy's first laugh in the early stages of the story and plays a cruical role in getting the grown-up Darlings and Lost Boys to return to childhood and back to Neverland. For the most part, he is a self-centered and conceited person who cares primarily about eating and telling tall tales, but he's a devoted friend to the Lost Boy Slightly, who upon their first meeting expressed admiration for the size of his lies.

Thanks to Fireflyer's wish, Tinker Bell is rescurrected at the end of the story, and he ends up marrying her.
