Neverland: J. M. Barrie, the du Mauriers, and the Dark Side of Peter Pan (US title)
is a book by Piers Dudgeon that purports to explain and reinterpret the story of the people behind Peter Pan.
It's a web of conspiracy theories, supposing that George du Maurier, grandfather of the Llewelyn Davies boys, and creator of the character of Svengali, actually had some kind of psychic powers, which J. M. Barrie picked up on, and then conspired to manipulate the boys' family toward some nefarious end. The book is riddled with errors of fact, misrepresentations, and probably more than a little outright fiction.
