Paul Dear is the protagonist of Peter David's novel Tigerheart, set in an alternate version of Neverland, known as "Anyplace". Although several characters in the book are the creations of Barrie renamed, Paul Dear is an original character in this story. His last name Dear, however, is a clear analog to the Darlings.
