Neverland: the Early Adventures of Peter Pan

Neverland: the Early Adventures of Peter Pan is a novel by R. Scott Leatherwood, published in 2002. As the title suggests, it's a prequel to the original story of Peter and Wendy, also written in continuity with the film Hook.
The introduction to the book poses 17 questions, left unanswered by the previously published stories. The novel then sets out to answer them. For example, "Why is Peter called 'Peter Pan'?" and "How did Tootles lose his marbles?"
The book promises a follow-up called The Great Crocodile Hunt, which will fill in the gap between the original story and Hook. It has not been forthcoming.
