Midnight in Never Land by Perry Bradford-Wilson and Michael Norris is a dark fantasy novel proposing an alternate origin for the characters. During the Napoleonic Wars a Royal Navy Captain named Hauke and catholic missionary named Smee arrive at a Caribbean island designated Never Land, where immortal children (in this case, vampires) lead by Peter Pan terrorize pirates and natives alike. It is self-published by the author, who boasts that it has sold "hundreds" of copies.
