Maggie Banning is the daughter of Peter Banning in the film Hook. She is played by Amber Scott. Maggie loves the Peter Pan stories and even plays the part of Wendy, her great-grandmother in a school play. Despite this, she does not know that her father was once Peter Pan who abandoned his eternal youth to marry her mother, Moira, as Peter had lost the majority of his childhood memories when he grew up. She and her brother Jack are kidnapped by Captain Hook, who uses them as bait to draw Peter back to Neverland where Hook plans to kill him. Hook attempts to brainwash the two into believing that their parents do not truly love them and lived happier lives before they were born though Maggie doesn't fall under Hook's ploy. Unfortunately, Jack, whose relationship with their father had been strained because of several broken promises by Peter due to his being a workaholic, falls prey to Hook's manipulations. After Peter remembers his long forgotten past as Peter Pan, he leads the Lost Boys into battle against Hook and his pirates. When the battle ends in victory for Peter and the Lost Boys, Maggie and Jack are guided back to London by Tinkerbell and are reunited with their mother. Peter also eventually returns and is now commited to spending more time with his family.
