Jason Marsden (born January 3, 1975) is the actor who played the voice of Peter Pan in the 1990-1991 TV series Peter Pan and the Pirates on the Fox network. Since the age of 10, he has acted in numerous television series, and performed voices in many television and film roles. At 5 feet, 1 inch in height, he's even shorter than J. M. Barrie, and he has frequently taken advantage of his youthful appearance and voice to play characters younger than him.
(Note: He should not be confused with James Marsden, who played Cyclops in the X-Men movies.)
Marsden's first substantial acting role was as one of the child actors to play Alan Quartermain Jr on General Hospital, from 1986-1988. After that, he played Eddie Munster in a revamped version of the classic comedy TV series, called The Munsters Today, until 1991. Meanwhile, he took on the voice role of Peter Pan in the only ongoing television series featuring the Neverland characters. In 1994-1995 he played a character named after himself on the tween sitcom Boy Meets World, after which he became a series regular on the blended-family sitcom Step by Step.
A guest role providing the voice of young Clark Kent on the Superman animated series was followed by a long run on Static Shock as the voice of the superhero's best friend/sidekick Richie Foley, and a recurring voice role on Justice League as the team's sidekick Snapper Carr. Meanwhile he did voice work for 40 daily episodes of Extreme Ghostbusters in Fall 1997 and from 2000-2003 did the voice of Tino Tonitini for The Weekenders. In 2002 he provided the voice of Kovu, the boyfriend of Simba's daughter Kiara in The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride, and the English voice of Haku, the protagonist's main ally in the Miyazaki masterpiece Spirited Away. In 2005-2007 he split his time between voice work as Matt Olsen on W.I.T.C.H. and two seasons as Danger Duck on Loonatics Unleashed.
All during this time he has done frequent guest roles on TV and occasional small movie roles. He has continued doing voice work, and is branching out into directing.
