Edward Quiller Couch
From Neverpedia
Sir Edward Quiller Couch is a character in P. J. Hogan's 2003 film Peter Pan, played by Geoffrey Palmer. He is the president of the bank where George Darling is employed as a clerk. He is said to appreciate small talk as much as a good balance sheet, so with Aunt Millicent's prodding George attempts (unsuccessfully) to engage in it with him. In each instance – first at the bank, later at a party hosted by the banker and his wife Lady Quiller Couch at their residence – the untimely arrival of Nana – either chasing Darling or coming to warn him of her imminent departure with Peter Pan – results in George, Sir Edward, and his companions being bowled to the ground.
