Lost Boys (manga)

ロストボーイズ (Lost Boys) is a one-volume manga story by Kaname Itsuki, first published in Japanese in 2004, and in English in 2006. In it, a boy clearly modeled after Peter Pan flies to London looking for a father for the Lost Boys, finds a young man named Mizuki with his window open, and takes him against his will to Neverland. Mizuki gradually develops feelings for the boy, but in the end decides to return home.
Although the translated text refers to the Lost Boys and Neverland by name, the Peter Pan character is called Air, his fairy is called Reux, and the hookless pirate is a handsome dandy named Captain Vanity with an equally attractive first mate called simply Al.
The story is retold in a genre known variously as yaoi, shonen-ai, or boys love. Fans argue about the exact distinction between them, but they all feature romantic or sexual relationships between boys and/or young men. Some contain explicit or stylized sex, but Lost Boys is fairly innocent, with little more than a brief kiss between Air and Mizuki, and a semi-clothed scene of a few pages between Vanity and Al in the epilogue. It's suitable for teenagers (assuming they aren't offended by the idea of male-male romance).
